PLC & HMI Programmer

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
• Develop and modify HMI applications using FactoryTalk View Studio, including Machine Edition (ME) and Site Edition (SE).
• Diagnose control system issues involving PLC logic, HMI communications, I/O, and industrial networks.
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, and modifications.
• Read electrical schematics and maintain clear program documentation and backups.
• Work with engineers, electricians, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Studio 5000 and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers.
• Proficiency with both FactoryTalk View ME and FactoryTalk View SE.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with EtherNet/IP communications.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and work independently.
• Clear communication skills and a practical approach to solving problems.

Preferred Experience

• PanelView Plus terminals and FactoryTalk View SE client/server systems.
• PowerFlex drives, industrial networking, and integration of third-party devices.
• Equipment commissioning in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
