MAIN FUNCTIONS
Assists in delivering items to customers by verifying orders, inventorying stock and arranging
transportation. Anticipates delivery requirements. Places and expedites orders. Verifies items
shipped by matching bills of lading and reconciles quantities while noting any discrepancies.
Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method,
and current status as well as answers questions. Works with limited work direction, and can
identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Prior shipping/receiving experience, warehouse or manufacturing experience, attention to detail.
