Cook – Rotational Schedule (14 Days On / 14 Days Off)
We are seeking an experienced scratch cook who enjoys preparing from‑scratch meals and bringing their own recipes and creativity to the kitchen. This position offers a consistent rotational schedule and the opportunity to cook independently for a stable group without customer-facing service.
Position Summary
The Cook is responsible for preparing breakfast and dinner for approximately 40–50 people each day. Menus are planned weekly by the cook, with creativity encouraged within familiar, well-balanced meal formats. Food is set out for self-service; direct serving is not required.
Schedule & Hours

• Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off
• Hours: Approximately 9–12 hours per day

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare from‑scratch breakfast and dinner meals daily
• Create weekly menus using personal recipes
• Order and manage food and kitchen supplies
• Set out meals for self‑service and maintain food quality during service
• Accommodate occasional dietary restrictions as provided
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
• Utilize available BBQ equipment when appropriate

Cooking Expectations

• Breakfast: Hot meals and simple grab‑and‑go options such as burritos, egg sandwiches, bacon, etc.
• Dinner: Protein, vegetables, starches, rolls, and desserts
• Creativity encouraged within basic flavor profiles
• Occasional specialty meals (e.g., seafood near holidays), with standard alternatives provided

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a scratch cook
• Comfortable cooking for groups of 40–50 people
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work early mornings and extended shifts independently
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
