Job Title: Senior Lease and Contracts Analyst
Location: Leased worker may be based at either the Greenway or The Woodlands office.
Openings: Four (4) positions available
• One role supporting Texas Delaware
• One role supporting Midland Basin
• Two roles supporting Lower 48 and Outside Operated assets
Position Summary The Senior Lease and Contracts Analyst supports the efficient administration and control of lease records for both producing and non-producing properties and interests that are acquired, owned, operated, or purchased. This role ensures lease data integrity, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities • Analyze and enter lease data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
• Prepare full and partial releases, assignments, and Exhibit A documentation for producing properties
• Support monthly lease calendar activities
• Provide assistance to Land Operations as needed
• Perform lease and unit reviews for shut-in wells and process related payments, subject to review and approval
• Identify, monitor, and track contractual obligations related to acquisitions, trades, and divestitures
• Support departmental special projects, including Acquisition & Divestiture activities
• Ensure continuous lease development activities are accurately tracked
• Maintain responsibility for a defined operational area
• Interpret leases and contracts across assigned properties, resolving technical, data, and process-related issues
• Proactively recommend alternative solutions to improve processes and systems
• Process and track partner offerings and update records accordingly
• Prepare agreement exhibits, lease reports, and acreage reports for business units and executive leadership
• Serve as a primary point of contact for landowners and other stakeholders as assigned, resolving inquiries related to property status and land administration procedures
• Maintain active professional affiliations with local and national land associations through regular meeting participation and networking
Qualifications • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn additional applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Quorum Land System and/or SAP preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and proprietary information
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Working knowledge of core land principles and their application, including analysis of land data for entry into land management systems
• General understanding of land terminology, contracts, and related applications, with the ability to handle increasingly complex assignments under general supervision
• New Mexico lease and contracts experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) or more years of relevant experience
