The Water Coordinator is the front line contact for engaging with potential water suppliers to identify, secure and help deliver cost competitive and timely solutions for securing water supply and delivering water solutions aligned with the basin’s drill and completion schedule.

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures all vendors and field personnel adhere to safety and environmental standards, as well as provide guidance on obtaining, maintaining, and documenting appropriate permits for work conducted.
- Monitor Drill and Completion Schedules to ensure water demands in all areas are met.
- Anticipate required water volumes, identify sourcing options, seek and evaluate sourcing bids and prepare water sourcing award recommendations and contracts.
- Proactively identify and uncover potential source water debottlenecking solutions.
- Plan temporary water transfer pipeline routes and coordinate with Land for permitting.
- Identify contractors, competitively bid, evaluate and award water transfer projects.
- Hand over to field water team personnel for implementation.
- Ensure pond sizes, starting levels and refresh rates are adequate to support well completion plans.
- Identify and work to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Provide direction and coaching to water team field personnel to ensure execution is being performed as planned.
- Assist water team lead to ensure field surveillance is adequate.
- Manage water recycling projects, including site selection, bid evaluation, mod/demob activities and operations.
- Assist with developing and executing plans to maximize water recycle when applicable.
- Participate in new water pond and infrastructure planning, design and bid evaluation process.
- Assist with construction supervision when field personnel are unavailable.
Required Skills:
- Experience with pipeline and pump installation and operation, ideally including temporary pipeline products (i.e. layflat hose) for completion water transfer
- Experience with water recycle facility set up, operations, clean-up process
- Experience leading and influencing both company and contractor field personnel
- Clean driving record, comfortable driving in isolated locations on O&G lease roads
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
