A major oil and gas operator is looking for a candidate that can oversee the air quality public policy aspect to help the company in its journey to Net Zero and commitment to continuous improvement, distinguishing itself with authenticity. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension based out of Oklahoma City, OK. Schedule is M-F working 8 hrs a day, 40 hrs a week.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Tracks, identifies and analyzes emerging and existing air quality regulatory laws and voluntary monitoring requirements within E&P
• Collaborates with internal subject matter experts on the evaluation of potential impact to the company
• Provides guidance to senior management about these requirements
• Serves as regulatory policy subject matter expert and contact across the infrastructure businesses, representing the interest and initiatives of infrastructure business by actively participating in various industry policy stakeholder & trade association meetings
• Coordinates closely with the impacted operations and marketing departments
• Coordinates the development of comments on state and local rule makings
• Mentors and trains less experienced regulatory affairs representatives
• Communicates information on risks and opportunities associated with regulatory developments to the appropriate teams
• Participates in multi-disciplinary regulatory impact analysis, position development and regulatory advocacy strategies
• Develops and issues alerts, bulletins, and regulatory updates for key stakeholders
• Coordinates presentation on state, regional, and local trades and oversees processes for submitting comments and votes
• Coordinates interactions with state, regional, and local agencies and prepares briefing and presentation materials
• Develops regulatory advocacy strategies and will potentially lead advocacy efforts on select issues
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree
- from accredited university
- Related degree field
Experience Minimum:
12 - 15 years related work experience
