Project Scheduler

MAIN FUNCTIONS Provide office coordination in support of geophysical vendor field operations

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:
• Coordinates the disposition of RFIs, NCRs and Field Changes
• Assists managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
• Addresses and solves day to day project coordination challenges supporting the PM in the identification, logging, analysis and resolution/mitigation of issues and risks
• Assists in the preparation of Risk Management Sessions
• Assists in the preparation of Lessons Learned Sessions
• Assists in the preparation of Project Gate Review Packages

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management Processes; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
• Experience in project coordination and/or technical experience in large Design & Build
• Must have excellent communication skills, possess high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in team setting
• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
• Must be proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
• Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any vendor, vessel or country-specific certifications required to work offshore)
• Must comply with all requirements per the agreement
• Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project
• Experience dealing with general contractors and design sub consultants
Specific Job Requirements/Skills Role will be more of a Scheduler. This individual will work with different groups within construction (mechanical, electrical, operations, etc.) to take schedules from each group and merge them into one cohesive schedule. Microsoft Project experience is a must. Not currently using P6 or other scheduling tools so not required.
