Position Description
• The Project Controls Specialist shall perform project control activities on specific projects, including essential functions below. Team members at this level are responsible for completing routine aspects of project control assignments with minimal oversight.
Essential Functions
  • Prepare and update status reports, project budgets/costs reports, progress measurement reports, and other related activities.
  • Prepare and update key project management reports for the purposes of supporting decisions and direction of the overall project.
  • Support the change and trend management process.
  • Preparing change management documents for the project, including monitoring, and tracking of cost and schedule.
  • Assist in analysis of staffing and manpower plans.
  • Interface with stakeholders, contractors, and management for reporting and cost tracking purposes.
  • Create periodic project analysis of gathered data through verification and validation to support project control metrics.
  • Provide timely and accurate project controls reporting and communication to management for large Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.

Basic/Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of Project Controls experience or bachelors degree in a business related major or engineering/construction management
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Access, PPT) Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years Project Controls experience
  • SAP Experience Preferred
  • Some MS Project or Primavera knowledge
  • Some knowledge of oil and gas engineering and construction processes Competencies

  • Ability to cope in a positive and productive manner within a high-pressure environment as expected in a Project with an aggressive schedule.
We are looking for a junior person with great knowledge in excel, knowledge in SAP preferably. Having some experience in Project Controls is a plus or at least some basic knowledge of concepts.
