I&E Technician

A major oil and gas operator is looking for an I&E Tech to support operations in South Texas. 
The I&E Tech is responsible for planning, designing, testing and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, in their assigned geographical area.  
Candidate must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Construction Supervisor, Operations Foremen, and the Automation Department on troubleshooting and resolving
• electrical issues.
• Working closely with electrical contractors and coordinating high voltage work, as well as small wire work.
• Day-to-day maintenance and repair, including hands on troubleshooting, as well as contractor management and work/quality inspection.
• Proactively identifying potential or developing field issues, and alerting managers for proactive remediation.
• Assisting in SWD and RTU start-ups.Assisting with new onboarding of producers or new producer sites.
• Providing remote and on-site support for automation issues at SWD and RTU locations.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and protocols.

Education Requirements and Skills:

• HS Diploma or GED Preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience is required.
• Previous industrial field electrician experience required.
• The candidate should be highly skilled in the following areas: problem solving, task prioritization, active listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• This position requires a self-starter/self-learner that demonstrates clear accountability and can adapt easily whether working independently or with a team.
• The candidate must have a strong sense of urgency and sound judgment.
