Job Overview:
Company’s Environmental Professional generates inventories of Greenhouse Gas, Criteria Pollutant and Hazardous Air Pollutant emissions for the purpose of reporting to government agencies or other stakeholders. The Professional may be asked to produce inventories of vented and flared volumes for reporting to oil & gas regulatory agencies. The Professional should support continuous improvement in all aspects of emissions reporting, including cost, accuracy, speed, and reducing the burden of data validation processes on Operations.

Primary responsibilities:
• Collect, QA, and enter data for calculating Greenhouse Gas, Criteria Pollutant and Hazardous Air Pollutant emissions, produce analyses of emissions inventory results, and support inventories of vented and flared volumes for reporting to oil & gas regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and submit e-GGRT Report annually and respond to agency follow-up timely and accurately.
• Adhere to data collection, calculation and QA/QC procedures as well as company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process improvements and implement them as appropriate.
• Support internal and external audit functions.
• Maintain constant communications with Permitting team, Business Units, and IT regarding input source data.
• Ensure state Emissions Inventories are completed accurately and submitted timely.
• Promote sustainable environmental practices within the company, including limiting air emissions, usage of freshwater, and impacts on sensitive species and habitats.
• Other activities as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Environmental field or Engineering
• 5+ years of air experience
• Air emissions modeling experience (e.g. Symmetry, ProMax, or HYSYS)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, and PowerPoint with presentation experience
• Project management skills with minimal oversight required
• Ability to communicate with operations, management, and executives
• Detail-oriented
• Experience in organizing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions based on complex data sets

Preferred Requirements:
• Engineering degree
• Experience with database management of air emissions programs (e.g. Sphera Essentia
