A major oil and gas operator is looking for an Asset Performance Management Analyst to support operations in The Woodlands, TX on a M-F hybrid schedule. This is a contract opportunity with the potential for extension.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate with in-country exploration office, Houston and Madrid technical services and Regional Teams to prepare monthly accruals for month end close.
• Support Regional Teams with all SAP procurement process such as purchase requisitions and service entry sheets when needed.
• The Performance Management Analyst will work closely with an interdisciplinary team (Exploration Global, Finance, Corporate, Regional and Asset).
• Coordinate, prepare and follow up the Service Orders generated for the different projects.
• Control Exploration charges to ensure appropriate expenditure is captured and consistency in cost allocation is maintained, in order to track actual capital expenditures and expenses.
• Assist the PM Global Exploration Manager in controlling exploration budget, creating documentation for investment approvals, assigning budget to projects work breakdown structures.
Required Qualifications
• Understand Profit and Loss account.
• Previous experience with SAP applications and cost tracking mechanisms.
• Exposure to SAP MM module.
• Previous experience with Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
• Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated. Outstanding teamwork and
collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the E&P value chain.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with JIB (Joint Interest Billing).
• Intermediate knowledge of Spanish is recommended.
• Exposure to E&P areas (assets, projects, etc.) is a plus.
